LUG SOLE BOOTS - Love 'em or Hate 'em?

I always love getting packages in the mail from my online purchases.
It's like Santa Claus coming to your door or the feeling you got as a kid entering a candy shop. Don't front, you know that feeling too lol
Yesterday I received a gojane package in the mail and I was overly excited to open it up.

As many of you may have seen, the lug sole boots and heels have been a BIG trend this past Summer leading into this fall and winter season.

I was on the hunt to find that wheat timberland-like heel with the black soles everywhere but they either didn't have my size, were completely sold out they were priced way to high on most sites.

Lucky for me, gojane restocked and had these booties known as the Vive Lug Booties in Camel in my size.

Best part is, they were on sale!! I was about to buy them on another site (no names mentioned for $58!) Gojane had them for $30!!! Crazy right?!

I also picked up another lug heel shoes in this beautiful leopard print.

Aren't these lovely?

Look out for a full video review on my youtube channel in the next week. I couldn't help myself and ordered 1 more pair of shoes lol. Once I receive them in the mail, I'll be posting a detailed review video.

HOW TO TAKE DOWN MARLEY TWISTS WITHOUT BREAKAGE!

Hello Everyone and Happy Tuesday!
Today I uploaded a video sharing the technique I use to take down my marley twists. This same method can be used for braids, weaves and pretty much any protective style for that matter.
I use to take down my hair all wrong and would have clumps of hair coming out in my hand from combing out knots :(

Well, this technique has solved all those problems and really is a fool proof way to take down a protective style without breakage.

Hope you enjoy :)

CLEAN EATS - WHAT'S FOR BREAKFAST?

Good Morning and Welcome to December.
I thought I would start this month off with a clean eats post called, "what's for breakfast?" I think I'll do a similar type of post once a week sharing what I eat to maintain my weight loss.

I usually have raw oatmeal in the morning mixed with protein and water (I know, sounds gross but I promise it taste amazing!). However, today I wanted to try something different.

So here is what I had...

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 cup of water
1/2 banana (ripe)
7-12 blueberries
1/2 cup of egg whites
Salt and pepper

Mini food processor
Pan to cook eggs
Pot to cook oatmeal

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put your pot on the stove on medium heat and add your water and oatmeal. When the pot comes to a boil, add in your banana and blueberries. Stir and smash the fruits into the oatmeal mixture. Cook for no more then 4-5 minutes.
Remove from stove and add oatmeal to a small food processor. You'll then blend it all until it's of a smooth consistency.

In your pan, add your egg whites, salt and pepper and cooked until done. I cooked mine like an omelette however, feel free to scramble your eggs as well.

Tada! Your oatmeal and egg white are done!

You don't even need to add sugar to your oatmeal because the ripped banana will add the perfect amount of sweetness.

If you try this recipe out, let me know how it turns out!
